A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

Nissan launched the second-generation F31 Leopard in February 1986 as a two-door-only coupé family using new V6 engines. The 200XS-II was the middle grade with the 1,998 cc VG20ET turbo V6. It is not the 1980 F30, the 1987 XS-II Grand Selection or the 3.0-litre Ultima.

Look a little closer.

A 1980 Leopard is first-generation F30 and was sold as two- and four-door hardtops with inline-six and four-cylinder engines. The 200XS-II is a 1986 GF31 two-door coupé with Nissan's new V6 family.

Photos show an example of the model or generation. The pictured vehicle’s year, equipment, or modifications can differ from the specification described here.

200XS-II is not the Ultima

Nissan identifies the XS-II as the middle grade with the 2.0-litre VG20ET turbo. The top Ultima used the larger VG30DE and could have sonar-controlled suspension; those details do not belong here.
