More than a set of wheels.
Fisker’s Karma reached production in Finland in 2011 for an American car company. The brochure identifies the U.S. car as a 2012 model, so this profile uses that model year. Valmet later reported that Karma production at its Uusikaupunki plant had been put on hold in July 2012.
Look a little closer.
The roof included solar cells, although plugging in remained the main way to recharge the battery.

Recovering some energy
When slowing, the electric drive can recover some of the car’s motion as electricity. The Karma combines this regenerative braking with ordinary friction brakes; recovering energy does not mean every bit of energy can be saved.
