A matching completed auction sale has not been verified for this exact year, body, trim, engine, transmission and market.
Joyride shows this gap instead of substituting an asking price, unsold bid or mismatched special vehicle.
More than a set of wheels.
The V6 GT succeeded the A310, appearing in September 1984 before sales began in 1985. The V6 Turbo followed later in 1985. Renault led development, with Robert Opron responsible for the body design. This profile concerns the original non-catalyst Turbo, not the naturally aspirated GT or the lower-output catalyst version added in 1987.
Look a little closer.
The GTA moved Alpine toward grand touring without abandoning its rear-engine layout.

Two introductions, not one
The 1984 presentation belongs to the V6 GT. Alpine dates the Turbo after the GT’s 1985 sales launch. Keeping those events separate also avoids assigning the later catalyst car’s 185 PS to the original 200 PS model.

A July 1986 technical sheet records double-wishbone suspension, ventilated discs and a five-speed transaxle. It is an early-series reference, not proof of every French launch-car detail. Conflicting torque and speed conversions are omitted rather than blended into a new specification.
