A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

The original Beetle began before World War II; large-scale postwar production started in 1945. It went on to be built in several countries. The final original Beetle left the factory in Mexico in 2003. The later New Beetle is a different design.

On an original Beetle, lifting the front lid reveals luggage space. The engine lives at the other end!
