More than a set of wheels.
Honda released the redesigned Acty Truck on 10 May 1988, its first full change in eleven years. Attack was a mechanically distinct grade rather than a graphics package: extremely low forward and reverse ratios helped it creep, while the rear differential lock and work equipment suited mud, slopes and precise loading jobs. This profile is the 547 cc HA2, not the 656 cc version introduced later.
Look a little closer.
Attack had an ultra-low reverse as well as an ultra-low forward ratio, useful when backing carefully on a rough work site.

Crawler gears solve a speed problem
Ultra Low and Ultra Reverse let the engine turn steadily while the truck moves at walking pace. The differential lock addresses another problem by coupling the rear axle shafts when one wheel has almost no grip. It is a slippery-ground tool, not a normal-road performance mode.

A cab-over kei truck cannot spend much of its legally limited length on a bonnet. Moving the compact engine under the body preserves bed length and keeps powertrain mass between the axles, though service access occurs through panels instead of a front hood.
