A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

Ford presented Evos at Frankfurt in 2011 as a four-seat design and technology study. Its battery-and-engine range, connected services and C-MAX Energi relationship were concept proposals rather than a homologated production specification.

Look a little closer.

All four opposing doors rise together, turning a low fastback into an unusually open motor-show display.

Photos show an example of the model or generation. The pictured vehicle’s year, equipment, or modifications can differ from the specification described here.

Evos previewed a relationship, not just a grille

The face influenced later Fords, but Evos also imagined the car learning a driver's calendar, route and preferences. In 2011 that cloud-connected layer was as central to the concept as its doors or fastback profile, linking Ford's design reset to a proposed change in how drivers configured a vehicle.

The later EVOS is a separate car

Ford reused the name in China a decade later for a production crossover with different proportions, doors and regional purpose. Treating it as the 2011 concept's production generation would obscure the original PHEV study and create a false mechanical lineage; the link is a recycled badge, not a shared exact identity.
