Why this sale: Exact August 2018 Japanese Corolla Sport G Z, 3BA-NRE210H, 1,190 cc gasoline, five-door hatchback and 2WD/front-wheel drive. The retained auction shifter photograph verifies the automatic/CVT selector; Toyota primary evidence supplies the 8NR-FTS engine identity. 45,853 km; black 218; one owner; no repair history; auction evaluation 4.5/B/B. Factory navigation, rear camera, heated half-leather seats, ETC, dashcam and spare tire were listed, along with cosmetic wear and a windshield chip.

Gross completed auction/contract amount displayed by SellCa. Seller-side fees are excluded from the displayed amount, but the exact June 2025 fee is not disclosed, so net proceeds are not claimed. One auction result is a reference, not an appraisal; condition, history, options, location and market timing can change value. Accepted as an exact year, grade, chassis family, body, driveline and transmission completed sale found in this bounded review. Its condition, equipment, color and mileage may materially affect comparison; this is not a condition-adjusted appraisal or a claim about the globally latest sale.

A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

G Z was the most visually assertive launch grade, with 18-inch wheels, a seven-inch information display and deeply bolstered sport seats. Toyota also offered a Hybrid G Z and a four-wheel-drive turbo G Z, then added a six-speed iMT in August, so this profile keeps the engine, driveline and gearbox tied to the June-launch CVT identity.

Look a little closer.

TTTNIS photographed this exact Corolla Sport 1.2 turbo G Z at a public display on June 27, 2018, one day after launch. The image verifies the visible early G Z hatchback identity, but it cannot prove the hidden CVT, front-drive hardware or mechanical condition.

Photos show an example of the model or generation. The pictured vehicle’s year, equipment, or modifications can differ from the specification described here.

G Z is a grade, not a complete drivetrain

At launch Toyota used the G Z name on three distinct combinations: front-drive 1.2 turbo CVT, four-wheel-drive 1.2 turbo CVT and front-drive hybrid. A six-speed iMT turbo followed in August. This page therefore freezes the June 2018 front-drive turbo CVT and does not borrow hybrid economy, 4WD dimensions or later manual-transmission facts.

Connected meant a built-in data link

Toyota called the Corolla Sport a first-generation connected car because every version carried a Data Communication Module. That hardware could support services such as warning-light diagnosis, maintenance guidance and driving feedback. Some services still depended on subscriptions or selected navigation equipment, so the profile does not present every connected feature as universally active.
