Mahindra Marazzo M8

The Marazzo mixed a tough boxed frame with front-wheel drive and three rows, aiming to give Indian families a quiet, roomy MPV.

A matching completed auction sale has not been verified for this exact year, body, trim, engine, transmission and market.

A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

Mahindra launched the Marazzo in India on September 3, 2018 in M2, M4, M6 and M8 trims. This page covers the original seven-seat M8 with captain's chairs, not the eight-seat M8 introduced later; the licensed launch photo's exact trim is unverified.

Look a little closer.

Marazzo means shark in Basque, and the design used shark-like ideas from the tooth-shaped grille to the tail lamps.

Photos show an example of the model or generation. The pictured vehicle’s year, equipment, or modifications can differ from the specification described here.

Designed on two continents

Mahindra's North American Technical Center near Detroit and its research centre in Chennai engineered the Marazzo together, with Pininfarina contributing to the design. The project joined teams separated by thousands of kilometres.

A quiet cabin was part of the engineering target

Mahindra quoted 43 dB at low idle for the new diesel and used a roof-mounted air-conditioning system for the rear rows. With the second and third rows folded, it claimed up to 1,055 litres of luggage room.
