Automatic shifts and fixed lanes. Field view is the default and widens to keep the leader and trailing rivals visible; choose Chase view or press C to follow your car. Hold the accelerator during the countdown for an immediate launch. Opponents launch at green using the same physics. Pause stops every racer; changing the lineup resets the run.

The cars behind the race

Acceleration and top-speed targets belong to each selected year and specification. Quarter-mile results are simulated, not published road-test times; these cars may finish before reaching their top speed.

Ferrari historical claims: 351.5 kW at 7,000 rpm, 324 km/h and 0–100 km/h in 4.1 s. Simulation mass is an estimated 1,250 kg running mass; Ferrari's quoted 1,100 kg is not treated as measured running weight. Braking uses an unverified 0.95 g estimate.

Upper-side-inlet transition pass 26 is an original geometry study, not the finished F40 and not yet photorealistic. Main body dimensions, wheelbase, tracks and the 1.124 m roof top are checked; local surfaces, panel gaps, bonnet ramps, lamp sections, glazing, lighting and cabin sizes remain estimates. Both shallow inlet cards are now real body openings backed by editable five-station visible transition meshes with 20 vertices and 16 wall quads per side. Their 104 mm visible depth, 0.44 throat-area ratio and 4 mm edge radius are photographic/form estimates, not Ferrari measurements; parts evidence supports separate left/right inlet assemblies and filter/cover/pipe relationships, but no factory section, hidden routing, airflow map, scan or calibrated launch-car camera solution was available. Paint coat plus separate laminated-windscreen and Perspex transmission/roughness/IOR values are scalar PBR studies without texture maps. Pop-up headlamp, door and rear-cover pivots, opening angles and local assemblies remain photographic studies rather than factory-measured parts. Seven source-informed gauge faces remain static and partially qualified. No front-cover articulation or accepted authentic stock-road-car/horn sound yet. Browser/device use is not verified on a physical mobile device.

130 hp SAE net at 5,500 rpm from DMC's technical manual. The 2,700 lb mass, 120 mph top speed and 9.0 s 0–60 mph targets are Car and Driver's July 1981 estimates, not measured test results. Braking uses an unverified 0.8 g estimate.

Ferrari's 2009 launch release quotes over 325 km/h, under 3.4 s to 100 km/h and 32.5 m from 100–0 km/h. The game conservatively uses 325 km/h and 3.4 s. Mass: 1,485 kg kerb with forged wheels and Racing Seats. Power: 570 CV converted to 419.2 kW; the release's inconsistent 425 kW parenthesis is not used. Year denotes launch specification, not a verified model year of the mesh.

Calibration errors compare the deterministic model with each recorded target, within tolerances of 0.08 s acceleration, 0.5 km/h terminal speed and 0.2 m verified braking. A zero calibration error means the simplified model was tuned to the target; it does not prove real-world accuracy. Power, mass, traction limits, rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag shape the acceleration curve. Gear shifts, grip and running mass include estimates; detailed torque curves, tyre behavior and weather are not simulated. No catch-up boosts are applied. Runs stop after 90 seconds; unfinished cars receive DNF.
