A place in vehicle history

More than a set of wheels.

The profile concerns Lane's red 1922 roadster. The green cover car is a representative ordinary A.B.C. photographed in Ramsey, not the museum object; its exact year and chassis are unverified.

Look a little closer.

The ordinary tourer and pointed-tail Super Sports must not be confused.

Photos show an example of the model or generation. The pictured vehicle’s year, equipment, or modifications can differ from the specification described here.

An engine maker's route into cars

A.B.C. worked across marine, aviation and motorcycle engines before this light car. The flat twin is a useful starting point for understanding the design, but it is not proof that every surviving example retains its original engine. This object's serial numbers and restoration history remain unknown.

One badge, several identities

The British museum roadster, its separate Super Sports relative and the unrelated American ABC need distinct records. The representative cover illustrates an ordinary British touring car without claiming to show Lane's specific survivor. Paint, body details and condition must not be transferred from that photograph to the museum object.
